Some resorts have splendid green lawns overlooking the majestic Pacific ocean.
1st Choice Maui Weddings can tell you which resort sites are worth the price and which are not.
Many of the resort grounds will look their in photography taken with afternoon lighting conditions.
Thinking of having a Hawaii Resort Wedding or a Hawaii Hotel Wedding, check out our many different Hawaii wedding hotel locations. You can do this by going directly through us and save a ton of money over the packages which are offered by the hotels. You will also find that our service is generally much better as most of the resorts have a high turnover rate with their employees (we've owned our company for eight years).

Hawaii Resort Weddings in South Maui

Hawaii Wedding Resort: The Renaissance (Wailea)

The Renaissance in Wailea boasts one of the most attractive sites for a small wedding party. The grassy site has an intimate feeling for a small party and the wedding ceremony is usually performed between two palms next to a pond and is surrounded by a garden.
Many of the resort sites are not really very secluded. This one is better than the average. It is also reasonably priced and we consider it to be one of the better values in a resort setting.
Hawaii Wedding Resort: Diamond Resort (Wailea)
If you're looking for an affordable, gazebo site on the south side of the island, Diamond Resort might be just the thing you're looking for. An elegant 15-acre resort nestled on the grassy hillside overlooking Wailea, commanding one of the most spectacular panoramic ocean views on the island. If you want to have your reception at the site, the Diamond Resort offers a private dining room which seats up to 25 guests with a lovely waterfall view.

Hawaii Wedding Resort: The Outrigger (Wailea)

This site is nice for afternoon weddings. You can see the West Maui mountains in the distance in the photography. They are best captured when they are hit by the morning sunlight. This small grassy site is next to a koi pond and offers good views of the ocean and the palms on the property behind. The photographer was standing on the long stairway leading down from the main lobby, so the wedding site is close to a major traffic area.
The Outrigger offers many nice photography possibilities on their property. The site fee is also quite reasonable as far as Resort sites go.

Hawaii Wedding Resort: The Kea Lani (Makena)

The Kea Lani offers a gazebo with two long parallel flights of stairs with fountains a several fountains between them for the brides grand entrance for your video. The property also have many grassy areas and pools suitable for wedding photography before and after the ceremony. The resort is above a fine sandy beach with some lava rock outcroppings that will enhance your beach photos.
The Kea Lani also has a second beach front area reserved for weddings.
Hawaii Wedding Resort: The Maui Prince (Makena)
The grounds of the Maui Prince located below the hotel offer a nice garden setting for outdoor weddings, set right next to Maluaka Beach. In addition, the resort also has one of the nicest water falls which is surrounded by the building (see the Waterfalls page link below).
Hawaii Wedding Resort: The Grand Wailea (Wailea)
The Grand Wailea is the premiere Hawaii wedding resort site on Maui. It has several gazebos, a Hawaii wedding chapel and excellent grounds for your Hawaii wedding photography. Whether you use only the gazebo and/or their wedding chapel, you will pay the same amount. But we can book this Maui resort wedding site and do your entire wedding at this location for less than you can do it if you go directly to the Grand Wailea. Before you book this site on your own, be sure to call us!

Hawaii Resort Weddings in West Maui

Kapalua Bay Resort (Kapalua)
This beautiful little bay offers two excellent sites overlooking the ocean in West Maui.

Kapalua Bay Terrace -- Officially, Kapula Bay Terrace is private property and weddings are not supposed to be performed there. We use to be able to use this site for a small fee. But not, anyone (who doesn't get chased away) and uses this area.
The Point at Kapalua Bay -- This beautiful grassy bluff overlooks Kapalua Bay and the offshore islands of Lanai and Molokai is perfect for large weddings, but the site fee is quite large. You can have your reception catered on the bluff or go inside the Kapalua Bay Hotel to one of their many fine restaurants, each with a romantic view.

Hawaii Resort Wedding: Embassy Suites (Kahana)

This resort is located in Kahana on a long sandy beach. The grassy garden and gazebo wedding site area has been wisely laid out so that other guests staying at the resort will not normally pass through the area. The Embassy also boasts two small water falls on their property which can be used for pictures taking opportunities. This is one of the more reasonably priced Hawaii resort wedding sites.
The Hyatt Regency (Ka'anapali)
The Hyatt's has three sites within the center of its property. All of these sites are laid out in such a way that other hotel guests will be walking past your wedding not leaving you much privacy. When you look at the prices that the hotel charges for these sites, you'll probably feel that this not one of the better values on Maui.
The Westin (Ka'anapali)
The Westin has a solid and attractive gazebo for your wedding ceremony. The extensive grounds of the resort also offer many other photographic possibilities. They have water falls, pools, ponds, garden pathways and nice palms overlooking the ocean.
The site definitely has a lot of picture taking opportunities. Inside the resort buildings their are many areas that will make for rather nice photography.
